Front of house

These are the front of the house. We seriously cut down the bushes in front. They was a wall of bushes that covered the front of the house. We plan to put in a little fountain with bench seating around it in between the two bushes left. In the future of course!

Surprise!!!

Well, Yesterday was a complete surprise! We had a special stake sacrament meeting. The whole stake got together to discuss ward boundary changes. They were creating a new branch and changing some of the boundaries around, they told us all of the wards would be affected too. We thought well we live five minutes from the building so it is not likely we are going to change buildings, and then our ward has the smallest boundaries so we are most likely to get more people added and we will sill be in the same ward. We got the maps and WOW!!!! what a change! All of the wards were indeed affected! We got put in the arlington 5th ward instead of Mansfield 1st! Wow we thought we weren't going to change wards! Not only that BUT our ward will meet in the stake center every sunday! So we get to drive past our old building to go to our new building!!! WOW, what a change! I keep saying that because we are just floored! we were not expecting to be affected! At least we haven't been in our old ward too long!

I finally got some pictures of the outside of the house! These are the ebackyard. Our pool is not working and it was covered by the foreclosure company to reduce liability. We just left it on till we can fix it!

Easter

So Easter came and went. It was nice this year. I was able to clean out and make the house look nice. Eric helped a lot with that one. He was able to move the furniture around. We had a huge dinner, and my whole family was able to come over. We had Jeanne and George, and Mom and Dad, Rachel, Melanie, Mike, and Linda, And Becky Ariel and Aaron came over later after dinner. We had a huge feast of food, and not all of it was eaten. We are still eating left overs. I had to borrow some chairs from the church we had so many people over. The food was good and then we had this Easter Resurrection eggs activity. It basically goes through the big events dealing with the Savior and Easter. And they used little symbols and had quotes and scriptures. I thought it went over well. I can use it again next year too.
As far as easter and candy we have not done that yet. We do not like having the commercialized version of easter on Sunday so I go a few days after easter sunday and get some easter stuff on sale and then we do the candy easter.
I am doing my Flylady program. It is going pretty well. I still have a long way to go to be even remotely good at it, or have it down as routine but that will come. Today my two big accomplishments were to plan my meals for the next week so I do not buy too much food and have it go to waste, and I cleaned out the car. Not the whole thing because there is this big storage thing I got from Mom in there, but the front is cleaned out and even vacuumed!
I am sooo close to having Insurance! I can finally go to the doctor soon!

Bye Bye Spring Break

Well spring break is almost over. We got a lot done. First we had a torrential downpour on Tuesday and that caused our septic tanks to fill up and start backing up so we couldn't use the toilets for a couple days. The next day was clear and we were able to get a pump to pump out all that water. So the toilets work now. But we are seriously considering hooking up to the city sewer now. It will not be cheap but we won't have to worry about the rain and not being able to use the toilets any more.
Then we got the sink mostly hooked up. We forgot one little seal that will not be very hard to put in. So I have one little leak in one side. The other side works. That is good. Then we got most of the trees trimmed and disposed of as well. We have some crepe merdels that have fanned out and if we are to trim them right we can out a little cushion on the middle part and have a wonderful tree chair! I think that would be wonderful!
We need to borrow a lawn mower from someone because our grass is just growing. We also need to seriously work on the weeds that have been allowed to grow for the years they were overlooked.
Then we spent a couple days cleaning out Jeanne and Georges garage. It was good weather and not hot like it will be in the summer so we took care of thata now. They still have to go through it but they can now get to it in an air conditioned house. We still have one more load to get but that will just have to wait for another weekend.
So now I have to clean the house for the party we are having here tomorrow. I invited all of our family to come and have dinner woth us. I might try to get an easter thing together. I might. I still have to do so much here. Or a least Eric thinks I have so much to do here. I have already done half of what is on his list. I still have to go get the food though!

Not Pictured

As you can see the house is big and it needs our touch on a lot of things. But it is going. The rooms not pictured are thekitchen, the laundry room, the third bathroom, and the garage and blue room behind it. I will get pictures of the outside and backyard sometime! LOL
In order to get all the pictures on there I had to put them on a few at a time thus some of my other new posts have been put on the older page. Check them out too!

The other half of the master bedroom. It is a big room. It even has a half wall for a crib when we have our second child.

Pictures

In these Caleb is holding a Pumello. I have been trying to branch out and buy interesting and new fruits and vegetables to try. This one tastes like a grapefuit and an orange put together! It is good, but the rind is huge. Probably half of the size of the fruit is the rind!

Caleb playing in one of the moving boxes we had left over. He is in the office. We put in the wood floor in that room.

Fishing

Okay here come some pictures! These first are Caleb fishing with Mom. He loves the fish he caught and it was surprisingly easy to have him throw them back in the lake!

Wow What A Change!

I went from nothing going on and not being busy to BUSY! I have a visiting teaching appointment tonight, then tomorrow I have my friend coming over for some Scarpbooking YEAH!, and then my visiting teachers coming over, then tomorrow I have Enrichment night, They are giving us food and watching Caleb HOW NICE!. Then on Friday I am going over to mom's to do my dishes and laundry, watch stargate, hopefully catch up more with Mike, who I did get to see on Sunday! I had to trap him there because he could not go on a date or anything! Saturday was supposed to be a family temple trip but the family ended up having to do lots of last minute and forgotten things so we are probably going to go down to Corsicana and help Jeanne and George clean out their garage.
I am still working on the photos, I have them downloaded all I have to do now is change them to small format for this site. It is painstaking! Hope to have them up soon!

Just Plodding Along

Well things have slowed down a lot. We made it back to Texas. Not much has changed. The fence is fixed so Juno is not on a run anymore. We are still working on the sink and the hot water, but Eric is doing well in school. And we got to eat our first sit down dinner on the dining room table! I am glad to have a big fridge and stove, and a table of course! I still do not have a dishwasher, or hot water to wash if I did have one now that I think of it, so I take my dirty dishes to Mom's. She is so nice to let me use her dishwasher. She laughs everytime she sees it! I took Caleb fishing Tuesday. Mom was out there already so we just joined her. The thing was they had just stocked the pond so Caleb was catching fish. He caught three in about an hour! It was funny the last fish he caught he started reeling in his line saying he had a fish and we looked at his line and nothing was pulling so we said to ourselves he didn't have a fish, well we let him reel it in anyway and we would just cast it out again. But as it got closer and closer and almost to the shore we saw a fish start jumping and fighting!!!!! HE HAD A FISH FOR REAL!!!! That was so funny.
Now I am trying to get the house clean for Friday night. Terry and Elizabeth are coming over. Elizabeth and I are going to a scrap meet, and Terry and Eric are probably going to talk about religion, politics, and Monty Python UGHHHHHH! I am glad Eliz and I have better things to do!
I am sorry about pictures. I have them but the cord is somewhere else. I do not know where. Maybe I can find it! As soon as I do I will get pictures up! I PROMISE!

Score!

Yes, We got two people to show up after work and they with George and Jeanne and one of the mens wife, and myself, we got the trailer loaded and ready. Without them we would have been lost! They helped us soooo much!!!! Then we got up super early the next day to tie it down, and then we all loaded in the two cars and away we went. I managed to drive all day without falling asleep, but the radio was not working and I had 2 CD's. One I really love and listened to for a while. When I got tired of that one I put in the other one, listened to a few songs and then took it right back out. It was putting me to SLEEP!!!!!! I don't know why I loved the one and not the other they are by the same artist! Anyway I listened to that one CD OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!!!!! I can now officially say I know ALL the words to EVERY song! And if that weren't bad enough Caleb knows a fair amount too! I listened to that CD almost nonstop, and ewhen I turned it off to talk to someone or hear Caleb, or just for a little quiet I started falling asleep again. I also had this big snack bag that I ate out of. I had water and juice to drink so I could stay awake. I managed even though I got up super early. Then we stayed in the Hampton in Union City. Got up early again and had their deluxe breakfast which was soooo good, I love sausge biscuits and gravy, and then we were on our way! This day was much the same. But as we got closer to home I didn't have any trouble staying awake! We got here and there were two preisthood brethren already here to help us unload. I was sooooo thankful. Then I went to sleep! I slept good on my bed in my house next to my husband. It was nice.
I have a farewell to go to today. One of Erics friends, and his mother is Jeannes best friend, and I knew him in the Youth program for a while. He is going over seas. So we are going to leave church after sacrament to get down there in time for the farewell.
Tomorrow I am doing something with Alyssah my best friend. I haven't seen her in a few weeks. I can't wait. Then I got to go to Mom's and see Mike, my brother who just got back from his mission in the Ukraine. Mom and Dad went to go get him and toured the area and they brought home Hats for all of us as souvenirs! I can't wait to see mine!
OHHHHH it feels so nice to be home!
I finally have my purse and camera up here. And it has my camera in it. I will post photos soon!
