I almost forgot!

I almost forgot to mention my super deals! I got like 4 free 8X10s for fathers day, and I also got 2 sets of 50 prints free for signing up my cvs cards on cvsphoto.com. I was soooo excited! I love them all. I even found some cheap frames with some half off coupons at Michael's. I LOVE IT!!!!

Okay it has been a loooooong time! I am so sorry. I have been working and then recuperating and then taking time with the kids. I am well and I work tomorrow. But I am going to watch the Princess Bride first! I love that movie.
Lizzie is well, she stands by herself for long periods of time but doesn't quite walk yet. She always goes down to scoot when she doesn't have anything to hold on to. But she is jabbering away. She is starting to point and she has been throwing royal fits for a while now!

Caleb is good and still talking almost non stop. It drives me nuts sometimes. What am I talking about it drives me nuts all the time! But he is good and taking his reading lessons at least okay. We are practicing for kindergarten. and he loves the weekly summer activities with the ward. And he has discovered video games. He loves to play them all day long. We have to watch that but all in all it is okay. It has been too hot to play outside. Over 103!! and a heat index!

Eric is doing well in his schooling for his teaching certificate. He has a job at cedar hill next year. They offer a stipend and a signing bonus. We are excited. We just have to survive the summer.
I have to earn enough money to survive until his paycheck comes in. Michael's was fun but not enough money. I am still trying for a job at aafes. I JUST got a phone interview on Monday for one of the 30 or so jobs I applied for. I hope I get it.

I am still working and trying to balance it all.

Jobs

I work at Michael's again tonight. And then again on Friday night. But I am starting to hear from my ideal Job AAFES. Army and Air force exchange service. It is a government job so some people I know who worked there said you had to commit murder practically to get fired. And they take a long time to get things done. I don't know. I have applied to a LOT of different jobs there and I am starting to get filled notices. So hopefully soon I will get an interview email. The first few job applications for AAFES I used a generic resume so I expect to be turned down for those but after that I got some help from dad and Eric and my resume was awesome so I expect to get some calls from those. In the next week or two is when I expect an email. And they do everything by email so cool! No phone calls to miss! AAFES also needs a typing test for some of their jobs. And I went and took that one yesterday. I did so well! I knew I typed pretty fast. I found some online typing test and found out around 40 a minute. I started practicing on a full size keyboard instead of a laptop size. I went and took it and it was super easy and I got to take it three times and I worked up to 53 words per minute with 94% accuracy! That is sooo better then I thought I could do! I am so excited. The jobs require 40 and so by getting 53 I am well more qualified! I am so optimistic.

First Day

I just got back from my first day at Michaels. It went fine I only worked from 930 to 2. Not bad. I am still wanting a job at aafes. I am waiting to see if they call me for a second interview. I am certain I will be called I will just be called later on. This IS a government job after all. They take forever! LOL
Lizzie is good. She has 4 teeth now. Her front 4 teeth.
Caleb is almost done with school and very excited.
Eric is almost done for the summer. He is looking forward to being done with his school too. He gets to stay home this summer and he is looking forward to that.
