Stress

well it is 4:30 and nobody has shown up yet. I have not completely given up yet because everybody works, but I am feeling the stress. We have managed to get the fridge and the stove out on the porch with the help of the dolly. But we can not actually get it on the trailer till we get the couch on. And for that we cannot use the dolly and we need more people here. I really hope people show up. I guess we can load it without sun light. I hope we get it all on tonight. Mom got in to town with Mike today. She might fly in to Lexington to drive with me. I hope she can, but I do not want to take her away from being home with Mike.
Last pregnancy I was fine for blood sugar and all that but I was borderline high blood pressure. I hope I don't have it any worse this pregnancy. But I fear I am feeling my blood pressure high at the moment. I am sure it will go back down after tomorrow.

Tomorrow!

Well tomorrow is the big day. I hope we have some people show up. I had a craving for something sweet last night and so I ended up making a lemon cake with lemon icing, and a no bake cheesecake thing. I can offer the movers some of that. I should have said there would be refreshments. That would have brought out more people! And I only say this not to judge people but from experience. I myself would come if there were food. Ask my best friends I have always been that way!
Then we leave on Friday hoefully missing the rain that is supposed to be coming. We will be back in time for Church on Sunday! I miss Eric!
And when I get home MIKEY-man will be home!!!!! He served a very honorable and obedient mission in Ukraine. Mom and Dad are over there picking him up, touring the area, and doing genealogy work while they are over there right now. It is nice to have him serve in the area our ancestors come from. I guess they needed help getting their work done!

PASS!!!!

I am so glad I am finally done with my exams. I passed my third with a 90. And I didn't realize that it was so late but I should have guessed it. I got sooo tired of studying I quite and just took the test. I should have studied some more because I passed by the skin of my teeth!!!!! After I took the test I looked at the time and realized why I was so tired of studying! I was just tired and wanted to go to bed!!! But I passed BARELY. but I passed. And they don't care what grade I got just that I passed and spent the required time in class. I am so glad to be done. Now I can finally move on! But I still have lots of time to go yet. The whole government agency that deals with processing paperwork is typically slow. and there is a lot of back and forth to it. But it will get done.

YEAH!!!!!!

WOW!!! I got a 94 on my first test and an 85 on my second!!!! WOO HOOO! I did good! I still have two more to take, but this one allows me to kind of go through and refresh my memory and then I can take the test. I like it. Computer tests are the way to go!
We are having the priesthood come over Thursday most likely in the afternoon, and loading as much as possible on the trailer. We have so much stuff though I know I am not oing to be able to get it al lon this load. I just hope that we can get all of the big stuff on their Thursday afternoon. I have heard two different views. One thinks we will get it all loaded Thursday and one thinks it is going to take more then one afternoon to load the big stuff. I just have to wait and see I guess.
Hopefully it will all work out. But I tell ya I WILL have people to help me if I have to go and kidnap them myself! I WILL not load that trailer by myself! LOL J/K

Rhymes Smymes!!!!

I am so glad Caleb is my son. I love him with all my heart. I am looking forward to another one. But Caleb also drives me bonkers sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has always been in the constant talk phase and I hope he gets out of it before school next year. But he also is in this rhyming phase. He always rhymes everything!!! It drives me nuts! "Caleb put on your shoes" "No put on my Shmoes!" "Pick up your toys" "No my shoys!" "this is called a tormedo, not a torpedo"
And a few days ago we were reading the scriptures and talking about what happened before, and we asked where Nephi went when he built the boat. And he said america, and we asked what else it was called looking for Promised land, and he said "American Idol!" Where in the world he got that I don't know. We do not watch American Idol! It was sooo funny.

Running on FUMES!

Well I am FInally on my way to Ohio to get my purse and another load of stuff for the Texas house. I am in the Hampton Half way between Texas and Ohio. We got a late start but we got here in time to read scriptures with Eric and then get to bed not to much later then normal. But Poor Caleb, he is running up and down the room trying to stay awake! George is encouraging him to run faster to get his energy out, But all of us with kids KNOW that when they act like this it is because they are almost OUT of energy and are running on just fumes now!!!! If he were to stop moving for 1 minute he would fall asleep wherever he is! So now I am tired too although I did nothing all day but sit in a car and get out and stretch for 5 mnute increments when we needed gas. I did drive for about 4 hours while George took a nap but it was not bad. I had my favorite treats in the whole world with me, frosted animal cookies! I LOVE THOSE THINGS! Time to go to bed.

Almost there!

Well We are closer to finding the hot water leak in the master bath. But the shower is now working in the blue bathroom in the back of the house. So we can take a short shower with no water leakage. And the only sink left that is not working is the kitchen sink. It is a good thing we are using all plastic stuff because I can not wash anything in the sink. One side is not plumbed at all and the other side is completely stopped up. Not even the plumber stuff got it loose. So now it has to be replumbed, and when we do that we are going to put in a disposal. I am glad for that! A disposal is soooo nice.
I joined the choir this morning. It is nice to be back in choir. We are performing next week is the only thing. So we have to practice extra early next week. It is just one song for ward conference, so I should be all right. I hope so.
Oh, and I have not been sick for a while, but I have another group of zits coming in. And today I was giving Caleb a shower, and when he got out he kind of gasped saying it was cold, well I gasped with him to play with him and helped him into a towel, and when I gasped I accidentally inhaled a hair into my mouth which made me catch and gag. And once I gagged I couldn't keep the rest down. So I had another episode. It was not very nice but, so it goes.

Much Better Now!!!

Much better is right!
First The house looks much better with all the carpet in. Our living room carpet just ;looks beautiful. When they came and showed me the color on the truck I was concerned that it looked much too dark, but I called Home Depot and they said that was indeed the color I ordered so I had them install it and it looks MUCH lighter and better in the house. It looks so nice. Plus we took out the pink outdated tile in front of the back door and put in our own tile. It looks much nicer too. I did the tile job on that and it could have looked better but oh well too bad. Eric wants to redo one section of it and he is welcome too but he has not done it so far and I am only going to wait so long before I grout it myself!
Then we got some of My In-laws furniture and set it up in the living and it looks so much better. It loooks habitable now!!! And we have some place to sit!!!! It is amazing!!
Then we snaked the toilets and lines and stuff and now we have working toilets! They work much better then they did before. I am so glad for that!
I feel much better then I did at my last post. I still have not gotten my singing voice back all the way and my dumb cough is hanging in there but I am feeling much better. I have not had too many reoccurances with the cough that was too hard and my poor stomach could not take it, but I have had a couple.
The bathrooms look much better now that some of them have had fixtures replaced that didn't work, and they have been scrubbed down.
Same with the kitchen. I am still working on that one though.
I will feel much better when my phone comes in tomorrow and my internet comes in on Friday. I will be able to use the computer without having to sit in the backyard or go to my Moms!!!!
I feel much better now that we are actually living in the house. We have food there and the toilets work and we have water and lights, and we even have heat IF we need it. We have not needed it much lately! It is a balmy 68 degrees most of the time.
And I forgot my house looks much better with blinds in most of the windows! We have not picked out the ones for the laundry yet. I forgot to measure those windows, and we have not picked out the roman shades we are going to put in our bedroom. We are going to go a little more expensive and so we want to hold off on that expense for a while.
But over all our house and lives are MUCH BETTER NOW.
