Two coats

Well, I have moved on to the laundry room to paint it. This laundry room has WAYYYY more stuff to paint and I have to paint the baseboards too! We are not going to be replacing them. This room was originally pink and never got painted over so I have to do TWO COATS of primer and thent he paint color! How awful is that!!!!!!! And it has so much detail work! I can't skip any of it!!!!
I went to my doctors visit. My doctor seems nice and down to earth. He says he will try to deliver naqtuaqlly but it depends on the type of surgery I had and all that I had to send off a letter to have it sent to him, and if something looks like it is not going right he will do a c-section.
Mike and Linda Are engaged! Mike flew her out to Los Angeles and they picked out a ring to put his diamond in. how fun is that!
I took Caleb to a play datae today. I thought there might be a couple of women there and we were a little late. There were like 8 women there!!!! A bunch of kids too! It was fun. Then we went to Zaxbys for lunch.
Eric is nearing ifnals. He is a little anxious and nervous. I know he will do well. He just doesn't know like I know.
Eric signed up for TA classes for the last 5 weeks of summer so We have 5 weeks to go to Ohio and get the house ready to go on the market. We won't have TV or internet so I believe we can get it done. It is going to take a lot of effort though! Eric calls this the trial of our faith. He compaares it to the crossing of the plains by the saints. I told him I had to think about that one. I still don't know if I completely see how that fits.

Too much work!

For Jeannes birthday which was monday, we decided to fix up her room. She has always wanted a purple room for herself but she would never paint the bedroom purple because George would not let her. Well You know me and George. I said I'll do it and he can just be mad at me! I don't care! I didn't actually tell her what we were doing we had to wait till she left and we have been working on it since tuesday. Tuesday I Emptied the room all the way, went and got some spackle and some plastic to lay on the floors, and patched the holes in the walls. Wednesday, I primed the walls which were nasty dirty and yellowish. Then I primed the part I could reach of the closet. I didn't want to lift the ladder to the room. I used a whole gallon of kilz primer. I also pulled off this old bad looking door stop on the wall we were going to put a baseboard door stop, and low and behold there was a BIG hole behind it!!! I was at home depot already that day, I thought about getting a patch just in case but decided against it. Man! I should have learned by now, if it can go wrong it will! So I had to go back But the walls looked SOOOO much better. That itself raised the value of our house by at least 5000 maybe more! Then Today I had Eric bring in the ladder and get me more paint. We have this big 5 gallon bucket I was not even going to try to lift! So Then I painted the little bay window seating area with it's drawers. I painted the shelves and the rest of the walls in the closet. I even did a second coat. I had to, apparently painting the closet was too much work when they did the rest of the walls and the closet was the original pink color! So that needed a few coats of paint.
Wednesday night we went to Becky's for Aarons first birthday! It was fun. When we were singing to aaron I think we were singing a little too loud because he was looking at all of us and he looked like he was about to start crying because he thought we were yelling at him!!! Poor aaron. He did not really play with the cake at all. And then I learned today that Miek and Linda were on their way tot he party but didn't make it because they had an accident. They told Rach they weren't hurt and not to worry and don't ruin the party. And she took that as don't tell anybody, so Mom and Dad didn't find out till an hour after the accident that they had had one. They were so mad. I have to say I would be too.
I am going to the church tonight for Relief Society and to talk to a counselor about a calling. I wonder what it will be. I think Primary. I had met the Primary president before and she was desperate for people and she perked up when She found out I was joining the ward!

August 26th is my supposed due date. I just finally pulled out the calendar and figured it out. And I bet I am going to get another ultrasound with my new doctor too! Wow! I hope they do one.

UGGGHHHHHH!!!

IT IS SOOOO HOOOOTTT!!!!!!! It is soo hot today! 85! man! And it is supposed to get 90 tomorrow! I am going to die! This is one of the only places I am going to whine too. I don't actually have to say it out loud I can just think it. I am trying really hard to not complain. Nothing about the weather and nothing about the pregnancy. I did a lot of complaining and excusing with the first pregnancy and so I am determined to do things normally, and not complain or make excuses that I can't do it when I really can.
So Happy Birthday Jeanne! 25!! whoo hoo getting older! lol
I have an appointment next monday. My first real appointment. I hope I like this doctor.

GREAT NEWS!!!

I went to my ultrasound appointment today, We spent an hour and half there trying to find all the pictures that we need! it was so funny watching my baby move around. One time it did a whole circle trying to get away from the ultrasound machine! Good news though, we found two really good photos that report we are having a................ GIRL!!!!!!! We are all really excited, so is Mom, and my best friend Elizabeth. Now she has someone to go cute girl clothes shopping for. She only has two nephews so she had to pass all those cute clothes! I bet mom is going to have a blast shopping as well! I know I will, but I have to be selective until we can really afford a whole lot. Jeanne and George are thrilled of course. George will have a hard time not being wrapped around her little finger. He is just a sucker for girls! And the heart beat was normal, and the baby does not look to be in a breach position! YEAH! I might actually get to have a natural birth!
I did find a doctor and my appointment is for the 28th. It is a little far away but that is the soonest I could get one. I at least did find a doctor who will deliver naturally. I hope it all works out.
We had another tornado warning last night. We were with Terry and Elizabeth, we had dinner and then we went bowling. We were in the middle of bowling on a broken machine when the warning came! The machine kept putting down incomplete sets of pins, and messing up, and not taking numbers. Once it erased my strike!!! So then the tornado came and we all had to troop down to the storm shelter. I was sooooo bored. Terry was very good and started playing hang man with the whole class. We had some very typical freshman in the room. It was the longest and most boring 30 minutes of my life! It probably wouldn't have been so bad if I weren't set on having a bad time! I DID NOT WANT TO BE THERE! I wanted to drive home, I guess I don't have as good an appreciation for tornadoes as all the rest of my friends. I was just being stubborn! But the rest of the night was really fun! We had an awesome dinner! Lemon chicken with mashed potatoes that were to die for! And steamed broccoli, and salad. I brought the salad. And then she got strawberry shortcake for dessert! It was soooo good!
When we were going home we ran into a little rain but nothing bad, until we got to mansfield. Then we ran into the devestation! LOL J/K it wasn't that bad, but there were leaves EVERYWHERE!!! Covering the road everywhere! and there was hail still piled on the side of the road!!! It looked like snow! Our pool filled back up again, but not too high and it doesn't look as dirty as before. We found a turtle in there and we took it to a secret pond we found! So now we start draining the pond AGAIN!
I washed the front of the house, it looks much better and the windows look a whole lot better!
We got our living room carpet replaced. It looks nice, no lines in it!
Caleb is doing good, We told him after the ultrasound, and he is very excited. I still don't think it has sunk in all the way but at least he knows now.
We are having lunch with Mike and Linda today. I got some birthday Money from Grandma Carver, and we will put it to good use at chipotle!
Not much more I can think of right now. We are just sooo excited! One last thing. I thought I was about 18 weeks, well the ultrasound said I was more like 21 weeks! WOW I am already over the half way point! so it looks like late late July or August. Exciting!

Progress

well I guess I am making progress. I am getting an ultrasound on Thursday. It is from this crisis pregnancy center in Grand Prairie. I went in and she started asking me all these questions, and then she told me I was easy. Yes I live with my husband, yes he knows I am pregnant, yes we are both happy, yes we intend to have the baby, no I do not have any undue stress in my life besides my 4 yr old son. I felt kind of bad going to a crisis center for those who really don't know what to do because they never intended to get caught! My situation is normal. The only thing crisis about it is I can't find a doctor to do what I want! But this place has a specific doctor that they give referrals to, I checked with this doctor already and they said he was all booked up. But if I can get a referral to this doctor maybe he will take me anyway! He does do VBACs, and he accepts my insurance.
Okay the list of doctors they gave me that accept my insurance 4/5 do not accept it! How wrong is that! But I did find one, and another that will start seeing me in my third trimester, so I can start seeing someone else in my area and then transfer to her. So I guess I have options! And Mom is being so helpful and calling all her nurses and staff to get inside info on good doctors for me! Soooo nice!

Thursday, April 10

I was hardly lucid yesterday!

I was sooo tired yesterday. I had not slept well and had gotten up early! I was therefore not putting my post together very well. But on to today. I got my insurance. All I need to do is wait for my papers to come in the mail so I can go and find a doctor. That is not easily done. Most of the doctors around here do not do Vaginal births after C-Sections called a VBAC. I have to call around a lot to find one. I think I may have found a few but I have to wait till monday before I can call to see if they accept my insurance. I hope they do I need to see a doctor. I am also accepted for Real Estate so I get to take my exam in six months at most. I also have to get fingerprinted, and send in some more paperwork for my licensing in Ohio. But I am close! Eric wants me to take the test before he gets out of school for the semester. That is three weeks. I hope I can get licensed before then!

Diddly Squat

General conference was nice although the timer we set up for the saturday sessions did not work. We have not gone to our new ward yet. That does happen soon though. We have the pool almost all drained out. It is HUMONGOUS!!! We got some water last night so we have to drain it some more. We have a lunch with Mike and Linda. It will be fun. They had to put off paintballing for another day though. We finally have the carpet guys coming to put in new carpeting Next wednesday. I have not been able to sleep very well the last few nights so I am very tired right now!

April

April fools day was no big thing. I didn't play any tricks. I am not very good at playing them. I always think of corny or stupid things anyway. Mom is going to General Conference in Utah this weekend. She is taking the family too. We had a nice get together yesterday. We had Terry and Elizabeth over, Jeanne and George were here. Elizabeth came over early to scrapbook with me. She actually had an English Project to work on. I totally understand that. I finally glued the sea shells from Saint Martin on my little lamp. I still haven't done the lamp shade yet. I left that in Corsicana so it wouldn't get crumpled. Then Eric brought Terry over from school and we all had spaghetti dinner. It was good! Even though I made entirely to much spaghetti sauce with meatballs. But that is okay we ate them today as a meatball sandwhich. It was good!!!
Now the dish guy is here to set up our dish. Jeanne and George just had to have GOOD TV here. I do have to say I missed being able to skip the commercials but I cannot afford a whole lot right now!
