Okay, Okay, I'll post already!

I know, I complain when other people don't update their blogs and then I go and don't update my own! We had a wonderful time at Hill Country. We were able to visit all the places that Eric went to when he lived there a long time ago. Some of those were a wash where we found sand dollars, fossils, and heart shaped clams. We also went to his old house and the park that he mowed. And then the best place we went to was this old cave off of a hidden road he found. We hiked up there and sat by the spring that came up at the back of the cave. It was cool! We also attended church up there. And then we spent one day in San Antonio. We went to the river walk and ate lunch, we drove by Georges grandmothers grave, and then we went to this airplane park at the air force base. We did stop by the commissary to see what they cost. I have heard that they are cheaper then a regular store but I could not see it. They had a box of diapers for 28.99 that is sooo not a good deal. I can get them for 20 at target and walmart! So I was disappointed. It is free of tax but that is not enough to make up for the price hikes! Anyway that was fun.
Then we spent one day at the timeshare. We played battleship, we swam in the pool, we played a cool set of mini golf, we wanted to play ping pong and shuffleboard but the people working the counter didn't do it right and kept giving the equipment to other people even though we were waiting first. We played chutes and ladders, connect four, Caleb entered a Simon Says contest. He didn't win but he had fun. We brought all our food and we ate well. Jeanne and George bought some stuff that we didn't really need and so our trip back was not any more comfortable then our trip there. It is supposed to be because you have alleviated all this extra room from the food being eaten, but this was their first time so they didn't really know.
